17 Weeks Premature

At around 20 weeks of pregnancy they discovered that I had an abrupted placenta. After 3 weeks of trying to slow down labor the head doctor decided that it was necessary for my daughter to be delivered in order for at least a chance of survival. Having a preemie in the NICU is a struggle of it's own. And then trying to pump milk on top of it? Please. So after a couple weeks of pumping my milk came in nice a full. But as the days went on it slowly decreased. I tried Phenugreek which is a wonderful herbal substance that helps many mothers: unfortionately it didn't do me justice. So now I am on a prescribed medicine called Reglan and it has been absolutely wonderful at bringing my milk supply in a little. So wish me luck for the future months to come. My daughter is now two months old and weighs 1.12lbs She is doing great seeings how she was born at 1.3lbs and has already undergone heart surgey and intestinal prematurity meds. We are hoping to bring her home around her due date 7-16-11. Thank you.
