Breast feeding pain

I delivered three weeks ago and I am breast feeding but I still feel pain while breastfeeding. My left nipple is cracked even though the baby is latching good. Is that normal?

So glad you asked. Pain and injury with breastfeeding is NOT normal. The fact that it is just one nipple leads me to think it is likely one of two problems. Either an inverted nipple OR positional injury from nursing in the same position every feed.
But it could be many other issues (tongue tie, bubble palate, infection just to name a few). There is NO way to adequately assess latch via phone or web. I highly suggest you make an appointment with a local lactation consultant OR la leche league leader so you can resolve your nipple pain soon.
