If you are going to smoke cigarettes while breastfeeding, here are some things to make it easier on baby:
1. Smoke AFTER a feed , it is suggested to wait 1.5 hrs after smoking before feeding at the breast.
2. Never expose child to second hand smoke.
3. If you see that your milk supply is dwindling, it is likely due to the nicotine usage. And you should seek help from a lactation consultant.
