Your baby will be exposed to many different foods, depending on your diet. This allows vitamins from all different food groups. This way the vitamins are more readily absorbed. Also the vitamins are not lost through the heating process often used with bottle preparation.

Breastfeeding does believe it or not provide convenience. The milk always the right temperature and readily available. Mixing up formula or warming a bottle can pose more of an inconvenience than nursing. Yes, you may have to find a discreet place to nurse if you are in public, but most babies want to be held while feeding anyway, so what is the difference?

Studies show babies who breastfeed have less food/seasonal alleriges, have a higher IQ, have less ear/tummy infections and DIE less often. Yes, infant mortality is higher among formula fed babies.
