Breastfeeding in Public
Breastfeeding in public, I frequently get asked the question, can I nurse my baby in public. I answer with this question, Can you eat in public? Then yes, you can feed your child in public. Everyone must eat. And it is near impossible to time every single breastfeeding session perfectly to allow for home feedings. And unfortunately, there is always going to be the selfish and ignorant person out there who cannot put the needs of a growing child above there own needs and beliefs.

You have the right to feed your baby anywhere anytime. Most states have
legislation
to support you feeding your child anywhere you are allowed to be. No covers are required.
I have absolutely no problem with women who freely feed with no cover but I was a little modest (I am almost ashamed to admit I was modest being a LC and all). I was pretty self conscious of my large milk filled breasts and felt it was a private moment between my daughters and me. So I used a blanket or a cover up. I never had anyone ever ask me to leave or stop feeding. I would have loved to argue but the issue never came up. DARN, could have had college paid for... lol.
