Hygeia Breastpump Review

One of the best double electric breastpumps on the market is the Hygeia breastpump, in my opinion.

Why? Several reasons:

1. It Works! Compared side by side to its main competitor: Medela, I have seen it perform just as good if not better.

2. It is the only "green" breastpump. Meaning it is the ONLY multiuser retail breastpump. The center for disease control says it is ok to allow multiple lactating women to use the same pump. NO other retail pump has this approval. In a nutshell, it means you can safely use a used hygeia, or sell it when you are finished with it. Both Medela and Ameda are classified as single user pumps.

3. It has a GREAT pricepoint. It is $50-100 cheaper than the others.


The only con that I can think of with the pump is that it is a new brand. So we can only see how it "holds up".
