Possible to go back to breastfeeding?

I have a soon to be 7 month old who was put on the bottle against my wishes at 4 1/2 months. He (hopefully) will soon be home and I want to know if it is possible to go back to breastfeeding as I still have my milk thanks to pumping. He was gaining 2 OZ a day on pure breastfeeding and now that he was forced onto formula he is only gaining .058 OZ a day.

This is a question I cannot answer yes or no. It is "possible", with the help of a lactation consultant, the baby cooperating AND lots of persistence. I suggest you find a local lactation consultant with "relactation" experience who can help you get the baby back on with the use of some lactation aids.
