Sucking and squirting

When my baby was born, in the womb he started sucking with his tongue on the roof of his mouth. During my 3 day hospital stay, lactation specialists were coming in and teaching my baby to suck correctly. I was so scared that he wouldn't learn because I really wanted to breast feed for the bonding experience, but, mostly for my babies health. On the third day, we finally got my baby to suck on my nipple using a plastic shield...it was very exciting because we knew he learned how to suck correctly. I had a visiting nurse to come to my house to see if my milk had come in...oh it had...she squirted me in the face with my own milk. A little weird but I chuckled. =) Its been a month now and my baby is healthy and great at breast feeding!!
