This page is intended for testimonials for the lactation consultation practice of Liz Pevytoe RN, IBCLC.
There are few more personal experiences than breastfeeding. Yet, we just find someone on yahoo or in a phone book to come share this experience.
So, I have started this page to allow past clients to express their thoughts about my care. In hopes, it will help you decide if I am the right lactation consultant to help you with your breastfeeding challenges.
About my philosophy:
Breastfeeding is a learned skill. Mom and baby must LEARN how to breastfeed. My job is to educate and encourage. I am a skilled cheerleader to simplify my skillset.I tend to not impose lots of "rules" on breastfeeding. My goal is to support you and to facilitate baby getting breastmilk.
On a side note:
I am a spirit filled christian. I consider my lactation practice to be my ministry. I do not impose my faith on my consultations, BUT I do pray before, during and after the consults for guidance and favor. I will be glad to pray with you during my consultation but you must ask me to do so. I will be praying for you and your baby for weeks/months after our consult, whether you request it or not. :)
