Why I want to breastfeed

I have tried to get pregnant for nine years. After five miscarriages I am finally pregnant with a viable pregnancy. I am due July 5th 2011 which happens to be my husbands birthday. We couldn't be happier. Because I've been waiting so long and hoped so much to be a mother I couldn't imagine not breastfeeding.
I am looking forward to the bonding experience with my baby boy. I remember stories from my own mother who breastfed all four of her children. She even told how when my oldest sister was a baby my mother took over breastfeeding my cousin who was a few months younger than my sister because my aunt became ill and had to be on medicines for 3 months. I thought that was a very sweet thing for my mother to do to make sure my cousin got a good start in life. All my sisters have breastfed as well so it runs in the family. I'm just happy I have the chance to join in on this family tradition.
