Why Breastfeed ? How long to do you have? Really, I could go on and on and on about the benefits of breastfeeding. I am so sold on breastfeeding that I can take your disadvantages and turn them into advantages breastfeeding. Like the statement, "I wont get enough sleep" Oh yes, you will if you sleep when the baby sleeps.When I was pregnant, I knew I would breastfeed, why? Because it was there. I don't question peeing or breathing, so why should I question feeding my baby with milk that happens naturally. I have decided not to even entertain any negatives on this website. Looking for an out, look elsewhere. I will not be the one who says it is ok to formula feed. The only exception would be true allergy (which is very rare) I firmly believe every baby deserves breastmilk. That is why I advocate for human breast milk banks and donor milk sharing. If for some reason you cannot provide your baby with breastmilk, there is means by which you can obtain human milk for your child.

Most of the time, when a pregnant mom is questioning whether or not she should breastfeed, it is because she has a partner (baby's daddy) who is unsupportive.
