Breastfeeding Stories

Lets share our breastfeeding stories.
Funny, serious, whatever.
Submit your story, share and encourage others.....
Motherhood stories are meant to share. So that we can encourage others struggling with the new baby. Nursing stories can inspire, educate and encourage a tired weary new mom.
I will start off with a story of my own:
Abby was due for a feeding, just as we pulled into the parking lot at the grocery store, of course. So I got into the backseat of my car and nursed her. I was reading a story to Emma my four year old as I nursed Abby. We finished nursing and went on into the store to shop. At the checkout, some 45 minutes later, I kept hearing a rustling noise, the more I looked for the noise, the louder it became. As I looked down on the ground I felt something on my neck, I went to feel for it and discovered my nursing bad had worked its way up to the top of my shirt and was about to fall out. Apparently, I forgot to put it back after feeding in the car. The 16 year old checker boy was looking at me with a mortified look. I grabbed the nursing pad and threw it into my cart and said, "don't even ask" and he responded "don't worry, I wasnt going to". He probably thought I padded my bra or something. Anyway, it is still funny today, 5 years later.
